PROGRAMS & EVENTS @ OTL
Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading 2021, "Tails & Tales" begins the week of June 21 (and sign-ups will continue through July for latecomers!) Please click here for a downloadable/printable schedule and sign-up form, or stop by the library for a paper copy!
Summer Reading is 100% free to participants and is open to any readers aged 18 and under. All participants receive at least one prize at the end of the program in mid-August. You can rack up those sweet reading minutes whether you prefer e-books, graphic novels/comics, audiobooks, or ancient tomes of actual real-life paper, and minutes spent reading out loud with your family also count! There are also fun Summer Reading crafts and events on the schedule (but attendance is not required and you can complete the program just by logging and reporting reading minutes if you prefer).
The Ontonagon Township Library strives to fund the Summer Reading Program 100% through donations, but is not soliciting help from businesses this year due to the widespread financial uncertainties created by Covid-19. If you or your business are able to donate funding, prizes, gift cards, etc., please contact the Library Director at LSiren@OntonagonLibrary.org. We would be very grateful to have you on board!
